Desjardins Family Farms Transplanting
”Enjoy~” He returned, and would move off towards his indicated bathroom with the intent to wash and ponder.

Decided that if there was any risks of a jaguar making an appearance tonight that it was best to go somewhere not too far from the quarry. Give the cat a place to go would hopefully provide enough stimulus that he wouldn’t end up back tracking towards the farm instead.

Not that Pax seemed to really have that issue, but- Just in case.

Also just in case a fennec came tonight, because Fenry knew water brought bugs, and bugs would be where Fenry headed.

Perfect plan!

Showering complete, and body feeling so much better, Henry would be back in the main part of the house before long.
He would, as much as a tepid shower could be enjoyed. Spent some extra time picking the dirt from under his fingernails. Should probably cut them, but it felt too much like declawing himself, so he wouldn't.

He got clear, and dry, but only half dressed. Twirling the shirt he meant to wear around a finger. He got a whole five rotations before joining the fennec and putting it down--with just enough delay to be noticed.

Because Parker Ellis liked to be noticed.
And Parker Ellis would be noticed.

Because Park Hye-Seong couldn’t keep his attention off of Pax when he was around.

Impossible really especially when he came waltzing out of the bathroom freshly showered and shirtless, a smile as his tongue pressed against his inner cheek.

”Good shower?” He mused as he reached for the shirt, because it was his now, thanks.
"It was pretty cold, but good, yes." He replied, accepting the loss of shirt with dignity. "I feel a bit more awake now."

Smirk.

"And you?"
”It was okay,” he hummed cradling the shirt against his chest beneath both arms. ”But much more awake now, yes.”

Another look over before his smile widened further, ”it’s a little strange knowing I’d get to see you afterwards.” He admitted, ”a good strange though, like, a comfy strange.”

Felt that maybe that didn’t make much sense either, but- It was a good feeling.
"Like a sleepover." He commented.

A little more subtle than 'like we're living together'.
”Yeah, something like that.” He nodded, looking to the shirt. ”Would you like this back now?”

Loved the shirtless look, but he wasn’t about to make him trudge all the way back towards the van without one if he was uncomfortable at all.
"Depends. What are the odds to run into someone else on our way?" He asked.

While he was always comfortable like this, he didn't want the scars to get attention, and then indirectly drag Hye-Seong into this.
This time of day…?

”Lower but not completely at zero, there’s a few other guys that live out here too.” A frown as he handed the shirt over.

Didn’t mind the scars, but he could understand why Pax might prefer to keep them hidden. Knew that they were large enough to garner potential questions, and Henry wasn’t looking to put that sort of spotlight on the man.

Didn’t want him growing needlessly uncomfortable, or make his new work life any harder than it needed to be.

Stupid Ollie.
That meant he would lightly tug at the shirt.

"I never mind looks." He commented. "But I don't want anyone to bother you about this."

Hye-Seong was easier to approach, he felt.
Released the shirt with the tugging, head shaking for the explanation.

”Even if they tried to ask me about it, I wouldn’t tell them.” He assured, ”but no need to stir anything up, plus once we’re in the van you can get as comfortable as you like.”
"Oh, I know. Just don't want you to be harassed." Or something like that. "And it's probably best to eat with a shirt on."

Little smirk.
”Well thank you for thinking of me,” he grinned. ”But yes probably for the best, so cover up and lets get some food.” He was actually really hungry so…

Corn dog time yay!!
"Yes, sir." He replied, finally putting the shirt on. "Very hungry."

He hoped there was a lot of food in that van.
Would reach for a hand, intertwining fingers as he made to lead them both back towards the van.

Thankfully not a far walk given he parked pretty close by, and soon enough he’d be opening the back of the van allow easier access, only shutting the doors once they were both inside.

Had thankfully gone to the corner mart not too long ago, so definitely enough snack food to feed the both of them as he crouched before the mini fridge.

”Which do you prefer?”
"Pizza," he decided. "I might even say I prefer hotdogs to corndogs, unless that's grounds for you dumping me."
It wasn’t grounds for dumping, but it would get a little gasp of disbelief from Henry as he pulled the microwaveable pizzas from the fridge. Placing them atop the counter before reaching for the superior choice of corn dogs for himself.

”Just means more for me,” he returned with a shake of his head. ”But what is your favorite food?” Asked as he unwrapped two of the pizza and placed them both into his toaster oven.

Loved this thing, especially when it left the microwave open for dogs.
He had a chuckle at the gasp. Wondered if he could inspire more tonight.

"Fish and chips comes to mind." He replied with another chuckle. "Original, I know. I tend to not really mind food, just need to get the appetite down."
Fish and chips.

He would remember that, even if it wasn’t the most original thing. Only meant that it would be easier for him to find!

”I think I can relate to that.” He mused placing the pizza in and setting both temp and time. ”I love corn dogs, but I mostly eat them because they’re convenient.” Definitely foods out there that he preferred over corn dogs.

”And quick.”
"Yeah, we don't have the leisure to cook for fun. Who does that?" He replied with a chuckle.

Especially weres!
Two of the foxes actually!

But Henry would keep that to himself as he got his corn dogs set up instead, ”neither of us.” He answered with soft giggles as he got those rotating in the microwave.

”I did learn how to make dumplings though, and that was fun.” Also kimbap, but that barely counted as cooking when it was just a matter of putting a whole punch of ingredients and rice together into some seaweed.
"Yeah, it can be fun." He admitted. "I just know Pasha will make me eat the food before I get to cook it if it's too fancy."

Maybe that just meant he had no interest in leashing his jag in non critical moments.
And wasn’t such a real, relatable and strange problem to have as a Were.

”Cats aren’t known to be very patient.” He grinned, pulling paper plates from another one of the lower cabinets. Placing the one of the pizzas atop the plate and bringing it over towards Pax.

The other could stay warm inside the oven until he was ready for it.

Four corn dogs could easily fit on a plate though (another reason they were superior) and he’d soon be joining Pax at the couch. ”Sorry no table to offer.”

Woes of limited space.
"We can be, when it counts." Especially when feelings are involved.

The no table had him chuckle.

"There was no table either when we caught that fish."
He was never going to live that fishy fumble down!

A bite of corn dog to mask the familiar embarrassment that came with that lack of control, but then he was reminded.

”We still need to do that fishing competition at some point.” Wiggle of fingers, ”see who can catch the most with hands.”

There was a 99.9% chance that he’d caught that first fish by pure luck alone but he wasn’t about to admit to that. OwO
"Sounds like week-end plans." He commented with a smile. Fishing~ He could spend a whole day... week... month... life fishing. "Like two bears catching salmon."

A ridiculous yet accurate comparison.
Definitely weekend plans that depended entirely on how they both were exhausted by the end of the week. Liam was really working them to the bone with this festival add on!!

”We’ll have all the bears jealous of our skill, so probably best to avoid their territory when we do it.”
"I'm not in any rush to meet something possibly bigger than me." He commented with a shake of the head. "It's a bit far off, but maybe north of Rice Bluff?"

Rivers were best for handcatching fish, in his opinion.
Everything was bigger when you were a fennec, so he didn’t think of things like this.

”Yeah that works,” Henry agreed easily. ”I trust your fishing expertise, wherever you think is best is where we will catch.”
"A lot of driving though, but it will be an adventure." He commented.

More adventurous than frozen pizzas for sure. But they were still good.
Well that gave him an idea!

”We could make into camping too.” He offered, ”save us at least half of the driving for the next day.” It had been another thing they’d discussed doing, and he’d ended up enjoying his last trip.
That would make him raise his brows in surprise.

"I almost expected you to have had enough camping for a lifetime." He commented.
A return raise of his brows.

”It’s not something I’m about to do on the regular or anything.” He assured, ”but we already talked about doing it, and things are always more fun with you.”

So if he’d liked it with Waylin, he’d probably love it with Pax.
He'd smirk at that but not comment on the compared experiences.

"Any camping activity you'd like to try?" He asked.
A tilt of his head in thought, another bite of his corn dog to stall for time.

What were camping activities… Ones that he hadn’t already done with Waylin… Hmmmm.

”I don’t know off the top of me head.” He frowned, ”but we could go hiking and see what we can find and stuff.” Or he’d think of something… He’d Google some ideas.
"You could show me all the edible plants." He offered.

He tended to focus on meat when outdoors, and technically most plants were edible to them, but still.
”Yeah! I could totally do that!” Henry agreed instantly, smile wide as he offered eager nods. ”That sounds so fun, good idea.”

This time of year there’d be a few options to them. And if they were near water. Even more.
Bulleye. He grinned.

"You do like plants a lot." He commented fondly.
Another nod of his head, softer this time.

”I do, plants are my version of your water.” And it was cute to him how both those things could go hand in hand depending on activity.
"Plants and water go well together." He commented.

Not a lot of plants could survive without water, after all.
He’d just been thinking that!

”I agree,” silent chuckles for the coincidence. ”Which speaking of water and plants. I figured we could go out around the quarry.” A beat before adding. ”If you still want to and stuff, like no pressure or anything. We could definitely stay here and like watch a movie or something, or you know, whatever you wanna do.”
"Movie sounds great. On the couch or in bed?"

Of course he had a smirk.
Movie sounded great!

Except where to watch...

"Bed means we'd have to be pretty close." He returned, woth a press of his lips.
