He’d gotten the job, which was nice because Baek Hyeon had not been entirely sure that he would, but he’d found a nice smile and a few sweet words were often the key to success. Didn’t matter that his resume was a little… Lacking, especially when the requested job was as simple as taking orders and delivering food.

Also helped that he was one of the only people willing to take every single graveyard shift.

He would start next week, which would give him time to get everything else in the apartment set up. Had focused on desunifying the place first, and now he could get the comforts in line.

First though, food.

It wasn’t his favorite time of the night, but now that he was partially human he needed to make sure that he got some sustenance that wasn’t of the blood variety. If he wanted to be healthy when the magic finally set in, he needed to work through these discomforts.

It would be worth it in the end.

A pile of waffles set before him, a side of bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. It was going to be miserable coming back up, but again… Worth it… Hopefully.

Moved to take a bite, and then it struck him. How bad was it going to look if he immediately threw this food up? What if it risked the job that he’d just gotten? Oof.

Probably best that he didn’t actually eat here. Maybe pick up some ramen on the way home or something…

Sighed and pulled himself up from the booth, prepared to leave but… Leaving the food was just as bad. Noted as someone walked in, grabbed the plates, and placed the plates before the stranger. ”On the house.”

Never mind that he wasn’t in a uniform.
