Detonation - Happened quite early in her life, during a tantrum where she was holding her breath, a tire exploded on her parents' car. She didn't understand it at first, but covert practice over the years helped figure it out. The easiests things to detonate are those were pressure is already built, thin surfaces and transparent objects. They will usually break into sharp shards. She is unable to breathe at all while putting the energy in the object, and up until every single piece falls to the ground. Symptoms of hypoxia are accelarated in this case, so confusion, blinding headaches, erratic heartbeat and passing out are threats. The bigger or thicker the object is, the heavier the recoil, and using it repeatedly increases the intensity of symptoms.
Necromancy - Now realizes that the last conversation she had with her grandfather was with his ghost. Chatting with ghosts makes her heavy, sluggish and sleepy, growing in intensity with every question asked and every replied heard. Falls into a deep sleep that nothing can wake her from after concluding a conversation, and the sleep period is five times as long as the conversation. Her memories of the ghost chats will be hazy too.

Middle child of a well-off family of Belgian origins
Was a bit spoilt as a child, but also left to her own devices
As such, her parents and grandmother never suspected she had psychic powers, and ignore it to this day

Developed her skills as a seamstress, studied fashion and moved to Europe at 21
After starting to make a name for herself, landed an internship with a prestigious company
Path looked set, until competition got heavy between a friend and their rival, which resulted in her friend "falling" down the stairs and getting hurt
May or may not have detonated a few extinguishers next to their rival's collection to sabotage them in retaliation
Wasn't caught, but the whole thing let a bad taste in her mouth
She was at a crossroads when she received a call about her grandpa's declining health
Flew back to Colorado, it was too late, but not exactly, because she could speak to his ghost without realizing it was a ghost. He asked her to take care of his wife, and she agreed
