Eternally boyish, Lazarus has a face full of freckles and dimples that show in his cheeks on the rare occasion that he should smile. Hazel eyes can appear brown in dark lighting and green in brighter settings. His hair is a plain mop of brown, his face mostly useless in the way of growing a beard. His clothing style is still figuring itself out. No piercings, tattoos, or jewelry.

Anxious and Paranoid
A lot of fear lives within Lazarus; if something could possibly go wrong at any given time, he has a tendency of convincing himself it's going to happen. He is particularly wary of other people. It takes him a long time to formulate some type of trust, and even then, it is hardly full or unwavering. Often times copious overthinking can have him mistreating others out of feelings that are born from scenarios he has fabricated in his mind.
Unconfident and Insecure
One hundred and fifty years has left him in the literal darkness as far as society's progression. Even though he is slowly gathering information, he sees his ignorance as a glaring fault and a major weakness against the social awareness of others. He is often filled with doubt and regularly second guesses his words and actions.
Reactive and Unpredictable
Lazarus does not respond well to unexpected or aggressive situations. He is prone to fear aggression, likely to lash out in an attempt to defend himself as quickly and fully as possible. Something as simple as an unanticipated touch can freak him out.
Curious and Intelligent
Very little education in his human life and several years of almost no mental stimulation has left Lazarus with a craving for knowledge. He loves to learn as much as he can, and is particularly fond of books. Technology is a daunting mission, but one he intends to tackle slowly. He catches on to most subjects with marked ease, as long as it doesn't include getting to know a real life person.
Obsessive
Lazarus is prone to unhealthy attachments when he does find someone he trusts. With his crippling inability to exist in the modern world with so few resources, if clinging to survival means clinging to a helping hand, he will. Likely to give in to festering thought patterns, he can brood over something that bothers him for evenings on end.

Born in Colorado in 1833 to Annabelle and Amos Clay, youngest of four sons with one younger sister.
Amos was killed in battle in 1847 in the Mexican-American War; Lazarus (14) and his eldest brother found work as cattle drivers to support their family.
In 1855, Lazarus went West in search of gold. With little luck in panning or mining, and with his little sister fallen ill back home, Lazarus began to steal out of desperation.
In late 1856, on a trip home, Lazarus was attacked by a vampire. Convinced that the thief was her long lost son, the vampire forced him to drink her blood before breaking his neck.
His Sire, Geneva, was not an aged or experienced vampire, but was cunning and manipulative. She held him captive for over 150 years, frequently wiping bits of his memory and using her power of Illusion to control him and keep him clueless to the progress of the outside world.
March, 2018: Lazarus and Geneva's home in Camp Baron was set on fire just before sunset. Geneva perished in the flames - Lazarus, in a stroke of unusually good luck, escaped. He was found by Edvin Beck, and assimilated into Eventide District Clutch when it formed.

Clutch:
○ Beauregard: Not particularly close, though Lazarus does regard him with some reverence. Envies his grace and charisma.
○ Raziyya: Also not particularly close. Mother-in-law, for all intents and purposes. She scares him.
○ Safiya: Long term girlfriend, eternal obsession.
○ Edvin: No longer in the clutch, but the reason Lazarus is in it, and probably the only reason he didn't turn to ash many years ago.
○ Tikanni: Acquaintances mostly, Lazarus is baffled and intrigued by his boyish and cheerful nature.
