Power/Animal Description Her powers awoke after a disastrous roller coaster accident. While it claimed the lives of two of her classmates, her skin hardened just enough to prevent fatal injuries. On a daily basis, it's more of an "airbag" effect, activating a second before she bumps herself (which happens a lot). She can maintain it at will for a few minutes with only some light trembling, but after 5 minutes old wounds start to reopen.

Psychometry is a fairly new one, that she's only starting to understand, so she wears thin gloves most of the time. She only seems to pick up sad feelings, like broken hearts and grief, and doesn't like it a lot. If she touches more than three items in an hour, or two at the same time, it gives her a blinding headache and uncontrollable sobbing.

History

Born in Seattle, in a well off but mostly normal family.
Had a variety of parascholar activities growing up, like learning languages, signing and dancing.
Dreamt of making a girl band duo with her best friend, but...
The roller coaster accident took her best friend's life. It was the end of that dream, at least for a while.
She studied languages, enough to get some online translation contracts.
Her parents both passed away in unrelated accidents and left her with a comfortable heritage.
All alone, she picked a town at random and moved there for a fresh start.
