-Did a lot of hard work and made a good living
-Sent all his kids to college and they live all over the US and he is so proud of them
-Lost Opal at age 67
-Won the West Virginia Powerball at age 69 for $150 million
-Bequeathed the farm to his nephews and retired to Florida

-Missed Appalachia, but didn't want to go back, so he picked Colorado
