History
- Born in 2001 in Corning, New York by parents who rushed into marriage after finding out his mother was pregnant
- At two years of age, the family moves to Graupel Canyon
- At four years of age, his mother is killed on a hiking trip
- Was then raised by a nanny more or less after school or after-school care as his father became largely absent due to holding down two jobs
- At ten, he's told the nanny will be his stepmom and it turned out he'd be a big brother soon. However, out of nowhere she moved away, hopes of a full family dashed
- Since then, has gone with his father to jobs after school and does homework in the stables or lofts to be out of the way. He's come to know a lot of the locals and picked up a few things of how to do part of his dad's job from watching and helping occasionally
- His best friends and him make a fort by a creek bed one summer. It's home base the entire season for all sorts of mischief.
- Middle school does a number on self esteem
- After a particular argument during one of his father's jobs at the age of 14, Finn goes off into the fields on the other side of a client's property. When a horse nudges him, Finn realizes a few had followed and thinks they've just picked up on his mood, but appreciates them being there for him.
- Similar incidents happen, but he notices animals are also drawn to him when he's happy or just willing to see something cool and its not limited to just horses. Curious, Finn pays more attention to body language and learns what he can about particular animals, trying to figure out if that's what's going on. He comes to an understanding its because he's really great at paying attention to particular ones and they seem to just pick up on his own body language back. At its core though, its definitely because he's special in someway, a truth his young imagination runs with.
- Fiddles with photography after finding an old camera at a thrift shop and it becomes a hobby
- Draws to animals more and more as comfort as he grows up and feels like they understand and listen to him, something he latches onto quite quickly. Spends more and more time outside and away from the house when possible.
- Attends high school in Graupel Canyon and it's been a lot better than middle school. The science teacher in particular clicks with him really well and talks a lot about fun studies and potential career routes. The art teacher notices his photography and begins to critique his work and offer suggestions.
- Setting sights to attending Cheyenne Point University after graduation to study Biology and maybe Photography, with dreams to be a Wildlife Photographer
