Of Jamaican and Canadian descent, born in Brisbane, Australia in the greatest year of all: 1993. Big-time surfer. Got injured badly while surfing, which ended his surfing career pretty early on.

Often called Jay, JJ or Ken for short. Is a man of many nicknames. Hardly anyone who knows him calls him Jaden.

Remained a party boy, always down for a good time. Maybe leaned a little too heavy into recreational drugs and alcohol use to see him through this tough time but he refuses to admit it was a problem. Just a rough patch, you know! Everyone goes through some shit!

Moved to California where he toured along the west coast in an old hippie bus for a year in his mid-twenties. Met many interesting folks along the way he never kept in touch with.

Infected after a mediocre (on his part) one-night stand in San Diego two years ago when he was twenty-seven. Didn't know what was happening to him at first. The woman who infected him ran off, leaving him to figure this shit out on his own, which is fine. You do you.

Found a prowl to join for a bit until he got sick of Cali. Moved in-land to Hawknell, Colorado in summer of 2022, looking to start fresh. Can't surf anymore because of the jaguar, so why bother sticking around the coast, you know?

Feeling a bit directionless but that's fine. He'll figure it out.

• Kalypso Amur — Kaly is Jay’s closest friend since coming to Ridgefield. Jay is forever grateful to her for putting him in touch with the jaguars in the area.
• Asha Rao — The Boss! Jay’s former Queen and his friend. He hopes she’s doing well since the prowl dissolved and wants to reach out to her again soon. Feels bad about taking this long to do so.
• Frank Beringer — The New Boss! Frank’s Jay’s cool new prowl leader and a man he looks up to.

• Safiya Farouk — Safiya once tricked Jay she was a mermaid. Kaly told him she must have been a vampire. He’s not totally convinced she’s not a mermaid.
