-Grew up in Kentucky in a poor living situation, her mom went missing when she was eight. There was a missing persons file done, but no one really looked for her. She was moved through foster care, never a great fit in any home. Ended up getting adopted by a well off man when she was fourteen, but it wasn’t quite the little orphan Annie story every girl in foster care dreamed of. He was neglectful, but only emotionally. She was left alone for hours, only finding friends in the house staff and the bugs she found in the gardens outside. Home schooled by a live-in teacher, she never had a friend her own age. She managed to complete her education at sixteen.
-When she was seventeen, her adoptive father pressured her to go to school. She chose Ridgefield, attending the University in Crestview for Mortuary Science. She didn’t know why she picked that, but she ended up falling in love with the study of death and the human body. After graduation, she became a mortician’s apprentice. She was bitten by a family member of one of her mentor’s clients, who attempted to break into the morgue on some mission to ‘give him a proper funeral’, whatever that meant. She tried to stop them, but she was bitten by teeth that seemed too sharp to be human.
-Her sire was arrested, and her wound healed un-naturally fast. She fell ill, but she could not have anticipated what was waiting for her on her first full moon. That was three years ago, and the journey from there to where she is now was helped tremendously by the shifter outing. She managed to understand what she was, in the very least. Her apprenticeship suffered from frequent excuses to not come in or to take a break from embalming, and she was forced to take a few months of a break and borrow money from her father before finding a new mentor in Lauderhill.
-A very faint southern accent, her voice is lower pitched with a throaty timbre, but soft in a way that is not intimidating.
-Used to wear glasses
