  • Had two parents and then had one, lived primarily with her mother while going to her dads every other weekend.
  • Gained a half sister about a year after the split, Zoya was ecstatic for the fact that she would have another girl around that was her age.
  • The two were inseparable, doing just about everything together from eating all the way to sleeping, it even got to the point that Zoya did not want to go to her father's some weekends.
  • A few years later, her mother would get pregnant with another child. This time Zoya would find herself a little less enthusiastic, old enough to understand now that while this would be her half sibling, it would be Safiya's full.
  • There would be some childish jealousy here, Zoya feeling inferior to this new sibling. As a means to make herself more known, Zoya would begin acting out be it at the house or at school.
  • These actions elicited tension between Zoya and her step-father, the girl eventually leaving to go live with her father.
  • At her father's house, Zoya found herself more comfortable as the only child, given the attention that she felt she wasn't getting back with her mother.
  • At the age of fourteen, Zoya would learn that she could will people into liking her, quickly using the power to boost her social status at school. If there was tension between her and another student, she was not above using her power to solve it.
  • By the age of sixteen, Zoya learned that she could evoke emotions that were not there as well. Definitely used this to her advantage at times, especially with her dad.
  • Visits to her mother slowly decreased from every other week, to once a month, to a year, and then nothing at all by the age of 18.
  • Got into art in high school, enjoyed painting the most, but found a deeper love for digital art. She could almost always be found tucked away on an IPad when she wasn't out with friends.
  • Got herself a scholarship to an art institute in New York, picked up quite a few different jobs dealing with art until eventually snagging a deal as a concept artist for a large studio.
  • Had a bit of a shopping problem and started doing a bit of modeling as a means to make up for the overspending. Enjoyed it but couldn't find herself focusing on it more than her art.
  • Recently was offered a promotion, and after learning that it was in the same town that her sister lived, would quickly agree to the transfer.
  • Now she's living it up in Ridgefield.

    Half-sister, they were super close when they were younger, but after their mother had a son with Safiya’s father, Zoya started to feel disconnected. Left to live with her dad and their relationship deteriorated. Came to live in Ridgefield so that she could try and rekindle what they had.
