Detonation: This power is still relatively new to Devin meaning her skill with it is still lackluster. The thicker an object is, the harder it is for her to explode meaning that most of the time she sticks with things similar in value to glass. It takes little effort and less time to get that to shatter than a plank of wood or brick. If she does attempt to focus on these sorts of things however, it takes her both more time and she will be left weak afterwards. If Devin continues to push past her limit, she will find herself knocked into dead sleep.

History

Born to a broken family in Mesa, Arizona, Devin was not born into an easy life. Father didn't stick around, and her mother, Rachael, was so busy working to keep things afloat that Devin learned from a very young age that life wasn't always fair.

Rachael, while a hard worker, had a very bad habit of getting with the wrong men. This meant that Devin grew up with an extensive amount of men coming in and out of her life. Often times, Devin would be the one left to pick up the pieces when these men eventually screwed her mother over and left.

As Devin got older, she would begin spending less and less time at home, noticing that she was attracting more attention than she wanted from the men that her mother brought home. She would instead spend most of her time on the streets, which in their neighborhood was hardly a safe thing.

Devin would of course get mixed in with the wrong type of people, or the right type in the opinion of her young mind. She would become a runner for a local gang.

Became real good at it, and given her policy of 'not taking what you sell' she would avoid the main trap that runners like her fell into... Addiction.

Drop out of High school end of Sophomore year after getting a higher rank within the gang. Would begin pushing for drugs instead, reeling in new addicts.

Devin would continue with this life, climbing higher until she was one of the people overseeing the projects. Life felt good for her, and the money was enough to keep the guilt from holding her down. Gained a more eccentric personality in an attempt to stop others from under estimating her. Fighting became a very regular thing, especially when someone tried to belittle her for being a woman.

Fought the wrong guy and got a true taste of the cruelty that came with this lifestyle. Mother and her latest boyfriend were shot up in a drive by that was meant for her.

It would be a few weeks until Devin learned that it was a couple shit heads in her own group that had been the cause of this tragedy. Angered to the point of no return, Devin was fully intent on taking each and every one of their lives in exchange for some returned peace.

Waited until the small group was all together before moving forward with her revenge. Plan was to go in guns blazing like she was some sort of Scarface, but life never worked like it did in the movies. Rushing in, Devin would find more men than she was expecting and would quickly be shot down after only three or four shots.

There she would be left to bleed out, the laughter of the men screaming in her ears long after they had left. This might have been the end of her if not for one of the runners "girlfriends" stopping by. Turns out she was anything but human, and after having Devin swear to leave the gang alone and leave Arizona, she would proceed to change Devin into a vampire.

Devin would be offered a name and location of a vampire that the woman trusted, and off she went to Nevada. There she would learn the basics of what it meant to be a vampire, and how to control herself.

Four months with her mentor, Devin would soon become confident enough to live on her own, even learning of her new ability. Packing her bags, Devin would make her solo trip to Ridgefield, Colorado where she now stays.
