To really understand Pete, there are only two things you have to keep in mind. First, there's not a rule in the world you have to follow because someone said so. And second, being bored and boring is a living death sentence.

Given that Pete is an inveterate liar, it's only possible to put together a reasonable guess at a real biography by comparing multiple sources. She grew up a wild child, was infected by a boyfriend in her early twenties, and can probably credit that bad night as the reason she made it to 30 without overdosing or dying in a car crash.

For a while she had an adopted...son? Nephew? With whom she moved to Ridgefield in 2018. The kid is nowhere to be found, and since he disappeared Pete has been doing her best to fill the gaps with Were friends. It's going surprisingly okay!
