News stations across the country are covering something ordinary yet extraordinary: an online forum with a small handful of users discussing "psychic" powers. Videos of incredible magical feats were shared among posters, eliminating any doubt that this segment of the population exists.
The forum was abruptly shut down after going public, and the identities of the posters remains unclear. Most of the site's contents are apparently lost, but some videos and a few threads were archived.
The most meaningful remaining thread is a discussion about "pacts."
A post reads:
ok so a pact is like 3 or 4 people, you all have to know your shit and practice together first or nothing happens. but then once you've got that, everyone come together, hold hands or let your knees touch or whatever. focus your energy BIG time. stay like this for an hour. if it doesn't fuck you up to bad, then you'll be able to feel it, being stronger and shit. took us like three times though lmao thought we were going to die
